Very cute.
I am wondering. Were you this involved when Former President Bush was putting us in hock to the Chinese?
Paula
Wow, that last comment was just...nasty! Some people have all the nerve!
Very cute tea bag! Thank you for the tutorial! I'm going to send it to my friend!
that's an AWESOME little tea bag you've created! thanks for sharing. :)
Cute teabag. But why is it white?
I will be making this not only to join in with shared angst for federal taxes and out-of-control spending, but I'll make a second one for California too!
For Ms. Paula ~ were you this caustic when Former President Clinton sat back on Bin Laden?
Snark alert. Paula. I'm just wondering how long President Bush is going to get the blame. Clinton started the Chinese thing and, since many people forget it, this is not a dictatorship. Congress is the one that insisted on refusing to implement regulations & giving mortgages to people who couldn't afford them? Obama & this Congress have managed to spend more money than ALL the presidents from Washington to Bush in his first 90 days. Now, do you want to continue this conversation? I think a few of us are ready to take you on.
LOVE that tea bag. I would like to put the link to this blog/pattern on a forum that I am a member of, with proper credit of course. I wish I could DO this!
TEA PARTY DAY WEDNESDAY! And I can't take lunchtime off to attend the closest one so I am trying to go to the one after work (since most people who would normally attend anyway work.)
Thanks everyone. Who knew a little tea bag would cause such a ruckus!
Liz - I made my tea bag white because I drink Twinnings tea, and their tea bags are white.
Susie Q - Feel free to post a link to this tutorial anywhere you'd like. I have posted the tute on Ravelry, which has ruffled a few feathers over there too.
Missie....except for the guy who claims that he went out and shaved his cat to get enough hair to do it with before reading instructions....;D
I bet it has ruffled flowers. I had to bow out last minute. My company wants some of the stimulus money so we were putting together a bid. I did my part though.....I called all the network stations (boy that CBS broad was a snot) and the local paper. Except for CBS, they were pretty nice and planning to cover it. Local lib rag even ran a piece on Tues so people could plan to attend on Wed. Color me surprised ;
Our next tea party is in July. Friend and I have a date to go!
PS - I'll go defend your honor at Ravelry...this is fun ;D
Excelent points SuzieQ! Bush didn't start this mess, he inherited it from the Clintons. Sitting on his arse about Bin Laden isn't the only thing Clinton is guilty of. Him and his power hungry ice-queen wife. I'm no accountant, I'm not even all the great at math, but even *I* know you can't spend your way out of debt. And the out of control Obama spending is just the tip of the iceberg with this joker. Hang on fellow Americans, this is going to be a rough ride, and God only knows where we'll be at the end of Obama's socialist rein. I'm in for the tea part too! Cool pattern!
I like your tea bag pattern.Good idea and I wish I had thought of it.
Great TEA bag, several will be adorning my rear view mirror. Will do at least one in red/white/blue. We should all be concerned as congress passes more and more spending; no end in sight. Our grandchildren will thank us for standing up and saying That's ENOUGH!
